What the table is and what it covers

WilmU publishes a single page, State Licensures by Program, for its public and direct licensure disclosures in education and nursing; there are no separate documents per program. Each state and DC gets a status for every program, and WilmU's wording has three settings. The usual one is Meets Educational Licensing Requirements; the others are Does not meet Educational Licensing Requirements and Not Determined Yet, with Tennessee's PM-FNP row using a variant, Not Yet Determined.

Seven nursing programs appear, under WilmU's abbreviations: RN-BSN, BSN-DNP, MSN Leadership, MSN-FNP, PM-FNP (the post-master's FNP, which WilmU sells as the FNP Graduate Certificate), PM-PMHNP (the post-master's PMHNP) and DNP. The BSN to DNP has one combined row rather than separate FNP and PMHNP rows, and the DNP in Nurse Anesthesiology has no row. The page shows no update date.

Each status answers one question: whether that program's education meets the state's requirements for the license it leads to. It is not a list of where clinical hours may happen, and it says nothing about admission.

The same table, program by program

Counting 50 states plus DC, here is how each nursing program comes out. The first column gives the number of jurisdictions marked Meets.

Two row notes on WilmU's page read oddly. The PM-FNP note describes a program for BSN holders who earn an MSN plus an FNP certificate, while WilmU's FNP Graduate Certificate page aims the program at nurses who already hold a master's or a doctorate. The PM-PMHNP note describes students whose master's is as a nurse practitioner, yet the combined PMHNP and DNP page lists a separate credit total for non-APRNs. If your path is unusual, ask which row covers you.

The table and where your clinicals happen

A Meets status does not decide where your clinical hours take place; that rule lives elsewhere. WilmU's NP pages call for RN licensure in the state where each clinical experience occurs, which our RN license for clinicals guide unpacks. WilmU publishes no rule for students who relocate mid-program and no list of states where it declines online nursing students. If you expect to move to one of the nine states above, raise it with the Online Learning office and your chair before the move.

One cross-check is worth knowing. WilmU's state authorization page notes that California has not joined SARA, while the licensure table marks California Meets for every nursing program. The two pages answer different questions, so a California resident should ask about both.
