What holds in every state
Two WilmU rules travel with you. NP clinical courses need current CPR certification and RN licensure for the state in which the clinical experience occurs, and WilmU's NP pages ask anyone planning to be licensed outside Delaware to check that state's requirements before applying.

In which states do WilmU's NP programs meet licensing requirements?
Most of them. WilmU's table lists the MSN-FNP and both post-master's NP certificates as meeting requirements in 43 states and the District of Columbia, and as Not Determined Yet in Idaho, Louisiana, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming. Confirm your state with WilmU before you apply or move.
Is WilmU's licensure table about clinicals?
No. It says whether a program meets a state's educational requirements for licensure. Clinical hours follow a separate WilmU rule: RN licensure for the state where the clinical happens, plus whatever that state asks of out-of-state programs.
Does Wilmington University take part in NC-SARA?
Yes. WilmU says Delaware is an approved SARA state and has approved Wilmington University to take part in NC-SARA, and its definition of online learning includes field experiences outside Delaware.
